I was going to call mine Maggie (magnetic gray) but now that it's at the body shop being stitched back together  I'm re-naming it Stitch (see avatar).

Yes, the new sheetmetal has resulted in a gender-change.

My wife names all of our cars. The new Prius was a natural- Sparky. Our Tacoma pick-up is Taco. I like to describe the Prius as a "battery operated jelly bean". (Never thought about gender.)

The "Silver Surfer" - since it was one of the first comic book characters I was to draw as a child, and like the character, can glide soundlessly. And it's silver, of course...

I've never named an inanimate object before, but I just brought my brand new Prius home a few days ago and have taken to calling it Stubby since the front end is so short.

Put me down as another Prius owner with "Sparky" (a reference to the electric parts and I've added the Sparky avatar from Lilo and Stitch).

My 2005 Black Prius is named KITT. A smart car that talks back to you (albiet in a female voice). Why not?

Although not original (credit ACD for this one) I chose to name mine the Tardis, because of its deceptively roomy interior. Plus I'm a geek and love Dr. Who :D

I received my light-green Prius on Saturday and love her. I've taken to calling her Conzai, which is a nickname for my wife, Connie. She wanted our next car to be a Prius, but she passed away a few months ago. Conzai is sort of a cross between Connie and the Japanese expression "Banzai!" Since the car is Japanese, it seems to fit, and I feel as if I have my Connie driving around with me. When I press the overhead sunglass holder, it opens and I have a little photo of Connie in there.

Black Widow...meant to poison OPEC and all the rest of them. When she grows up, she was to be a full E/V. She's just waiting for me to change jobs so that I wouldn't need to depend on that *** (also known as black gold).

My kids call mine "clover" because of it's subtle green color. They also insist it's a girl because of the "Nav Lady".

My 2006 Black Prius is called the Spudmobile. I consider it gender neutral, which is fine because I'm girl enough to carry it off. B)
