We're about to buy our third Prius. I'd like to get a 2021 Prius Prime XLE (so I have the lock on the charging cable), but our dealership is offering a 2020 model. What are the significant differences?

We appreciate the features Tideland listed (we recently went from a 2020 to the 2021). In considering the 2020, ensure it was not previously owned or leased, as then you would not be eligible for the $4502 federal tax credit. Thanks to the magic of high mfg, dealer, federal, and state incentives and good trade-in value, we've transitioned through three Primes in the past three years for a net cost of about $2k/year. The math doesn't work without the incentives a new, previously untitled Prime offers.
