Suggest we use this thread to document these differences as we become aware of them.

    1. As already discussed, the EV modes are different.
    2. The Euro mods model has a Landscape format screen, smaller than the US advanced.
    3. So far as I can tell, there are NO phone apps to go with the Euro car. There is nothing in the Google Play store for Android, and Entune apps are, to my surprise, not available. Google will not let me download them, due to "my location".
    4. Of course, we have the intelligent adaptive High Beam lights, which I look forward to testing when my new car arrives. No opportunity to try during my test drive as it was daylight.

Don't the European cars also have an option for a solar panel in the roof of the "Prime"?

At least some markets do, but it appears that other higher end options need to be forgone for it.

    What a shame.

Not really much of one. Some areas of Europe might gain the same benefit for the solar roof as Japan gets, but it is a pricey option that is the main cause for the seating and cargo sacrifices seen across the model.

From memory the HUD, blind spot monitoring and parking sensors are forfeit, Toyota say for weight reasons, if the solar roof is chosen.
Don't think you are right about seating and cargo sacrifices though. Cargo space is reduced due to traction battery size and Toyota have said, reduced rear seating is due to weight issues. Hence the carbon fibre hatch.

Also there is no navigation on the HUD, which is really strange.... Tomorrow I'll get mine so I can check it all out.

Yes I noticed that absence in the Euro user manual.

Can you let me know if you get a charging cable to use with public charging stations, as well as the one to plug in to a domestic power socket?

Also can you check with the dealer whether there are any phone apps that will access the car for charging info or remote climate control?

    Enjoy your new car!
