Different stage 2 operation

    I have 04 European model Prius. I’ve been reading about operating stages The Five Stages of Prius Hybrid Operation | PriusChat and Prius Stages of Operation & Operating Mode Availability -A Reference Aid | PriusChat But my Prius operates a bit differently.

    -S1 operates exactly same.

    -S2 does have both ability to accelerate (slowly) with electrical power only and ability to glide with no arrows (and maybe all the stuff that should be only on S4) (I’m just using my feet to achieve those no ev-button pressed).

    -S3 start at around 70c (158F). Otherwise about the same as in those links.

    -S4 is about the same as in those links.

    Does anybody else have Prius that operates like this? Ecu and Hv-ecu have been upgraded in 2009 can this be related to that?
