    Actually it is $3,000. The formula works like this.

    The first 4 kWh qualifies for $2,500. Additional kWh gets $417. Prius PHV prototype had 5.2 kWh so $2,500 + $500 = $3,000.

    Well by the time I may get it who knows what might be available to me. Even really good pre announcements (ABAT anyone?) might dissuade me from getting the Plug-In Prius or if by that time they have a buyers market again for cordless Prii or even a Lexus. My Lexus dealer has been stoning me about the CT but I do not shop during seller's markets.

    Hah! I could pull a john1701a and order one from Dianne. Course I might have to either hit every Toyota dealership on the way home to charge up or just rent UHaul and trailer when I get there. Of course I might just order the PiP and wait.

    Yo Toyota! How about a drop ship to my dealer for an engineer with a heated garage and 220V?
