DIY- Easy Shift Gate LED Illumination Project

    Hey everyone, I just wanted to share a quick and easy mod I found while surfing the inter-web. It's a shift gate illumination mod. Although the look of it was neat, the price and the overall brightness of the shifter was a bit much for me. So I found a less obtrusive and subtle back-glow solution for a fraction of the price. The illumination is more visible at night obviously than it is during the day. Enjoy!

    Here's a quick DIY of the installation:

    Installation Level: 1 (~15 minutes)
    Tools: Philips Screw driver, Wire Connector Crimp (or similar), Trim removal tool (optional), 3m double side tape, wire taps/connectors

    *I removed the LED from the housing for my install
