Do I need a new caliper?

    For funsies... now that it's back together... the noise is a bit different, but I have only driven a few miles and there's a new popping noise, so that whole big diversion may have changed a little because the sounds are different, but not a lot.

    My plan is to search this forum and the larger web again. I also think maybe I should make a recording, but I'm not really sure how well my phone will pick it up after this. My kids have better audio equipment, but that would turn it into more of a production.

    If I do get a sound or find a better way to phrase my question, I guess I'll make a new post.

    I'm also planning take the tire off again to inspect the piston and boot. If that ends up being an issue, I'll reply to this thread.
