I'm a person that puts driving at the top of the hobby list. My old car, 2003 Nissan Spec-V, saw a lot of mileage too; around 650km (~400mi) a week. A full tank lasted about 5 days or so, and it demanded 91 octacne fuel. When I got the Prius I started jamming in the clicks right away and put down 1500km in the first week. My first oil change was around a month after I got the car. I still drive a lot, and I'm probably filling up every 8 days, averaging 850km between fills. I've saved a good chunk of money compared to my old car. I love my Prius!

I don't drive more, but my work commute miles are more guilt free than before. (and downright cheaper).

I drive just a little less than 20,000 miles every year...

Say, this an old thread, darn, I wish I could delete my message..

I don't drive more miles but, I do drive the Prius more (whether its my 01 or the 06). My 13mpg 2003 GMC Envoy is mostly parked. I should just sell it. I must say the miles are much happier now. Now if I could just talk the wife into selling the Envoy and getting a Prius C. :)
