When I started my job (a long time ago) I was unsure about the dress code so asked my manager if shorts were appropriate. His answer "I don't care if you wear a dress as long as you do your job well."

No dress code here :) , I wear shorts and sandals pretty much all summer long.

Where I work the code is VERY strict. Here is one of the few available shots of me at work. Taken about four years ago.

I think he has a habit of walking around naked or something... I posted something sometime and he responded with something amongst the lines of him being nude, just out of the shower....

We have a dress code here, but it rarely gets inforced. Since I have a position of authority, I tend to wear business - wear (tailored pants/shirts/skirts) and when clients come in, ccasionally suits.

We used to employ a female administrative assistant who wore tube tops & flip-flops all summer long. Our male UPS guy would be here long after he dropped off packages.

No dress code here. I regularly wear jeans and a tshirt or tank top and sneakers, if it's really warm sometimes tank top, long skirt and flip flops. My bosses wear whatever's comfortable, whether it be jeans or shorts and tshirts. Once I wore my pajamas to work~a large tshirt and black yoga-style pants with flip flops. Was too comfortable in my pj's that morning and just didn't feel like changing out of them. :D

we have office casual, but frequently, especially in the summer, will go to "t-shirt and jeans" week, or shorts week. etc. only if a client visits do we make sure everyone is one their best behavoir. and considering that a great portion of the people i work with are very young, we average 2-3 a day sent home in the summer to change clothes...bummer...

You know me too well, Squid.

Are they as good as Wonder Woman's? Do you also have a gold lasso? How heavy is your tiara?

Seriously, though. Walking around in all of that stuff can be pretty tiring until you get used to it. At least you don't have to wear a K-pot all the time.
