Morse is elite, not leet. But it does the same thing by keeping people who are not in the club from understanding what is being said. Same with the DES encryption I used on "that" post.
With Firefox Leet Key, DES decrypt with a value of 60 (Prius MPG . . . my hint.) then leet transform to Alpla. It's an answer to the replied to post.

(No way would someone here be able to decrypt the DES code if I made the key several digits long and didn't give a hint . . . OK maybe the NSA. )

What? You want me to say I love Nancy too? Is she into that kind of thing? Neither my wife or I are into it. ;)
Type text loop is quaint, but my motor skills are my own. 1 0wn m3!

funny, thought the hint stood for Multi Player Games, went down wrong rabbit trail.

trying your 60 hint, closest I get to a decryption with key of 60 is:
    4f73r m3 4f73r m3 4f73r m3 4f73r m3 4f73r m3 4f73r m3 4fâÃ$3iœÃ¤
    U/xBDUUWPM2Xe6UzqObYS6kyfJhK4bgfzgFsnJinIn7zZok5P4MV4EruYSkTfGQsmL1ixMjIOdeN

    YSkTfGQsmL1ixMjIOdeNnS78kbxoY+/7ty08hPAqU/xBDUUWPM2Xe6UzqObYFa74ESKOXH4fzgFs
    nJinIuoa1XHff9M3

guess it is still wrong key, or maybe something in the string is garbled....

It decodes for me just fine.

Your post shows you decrypted the first 12 words down to leet, then you have leftover garbage code for the rest of the first line, THEN UNDECRYPETED ORIGINAL CODE.

With DES it is very important to highlight the entire code for it to decipher correctly. If you do not highlight the first character, the entire result will be garbage (give it a try). If you do not highlight the last character, the results near the end will be garbage. It looks like you did something inbetween. I think you only highlighted and decrypted the first line – but if you would have done a Leet to Alpha with what you had, you would have seen you were on the right path. :)

Unlike leet, Morse, or other non-DES stuff, you CAN NOT decode DES piecemeal . . . it's all or nothing.

I see what you are saying, but selected the whole block. Even tried making it one long string before decrypting, but it still fried up at the same point. Was thinking that a line break or errant character might have been interfering with it. Oh well, were you able to decode my line? key is 8 bytes, sufferin.

I tried. What did you do to it? DES key of 8?

Welcome to the wonderful world of steganography. How can you decrypt a message that you don't know is there, even though you are staring right at it?

I hear that BigDaddy has a version of the PriusChat Avatar Start Button calendar cover just loaded with stuff.

I hope Gizmo will feel get to feeling better soon!

There's a project director at my company whose phone number is xx3-1337.

He had no idea why I thought it was cool.

Prime, too. Wonder what is the longest 1337 word/phrase that is also prime?
