Does the OBD have any information about the engine oil?

    Hi there.

Does anyone know if there is any OBD data that can be read with an app like Torque about the engine oil itself?

I have tried reading oil temperature and it came out as a constant "1". Perhaps I setup something wrong in Torque?

I also couldn't really find any other readings - there is no oil pressure sensor or anything like that?

    Thanks.

When I had a Gen 2, the oil pressure was a switch. It was either good enough or it wasn't.

Gen 3 or Gen 4 could have changed that, but I doubt it.

... or the sensor and feature aren't implemented in the Prius, so the ECU just returns a fixed default value?
