    I love my Prius too, but competition drives innovation. This system looks like it could really improve fuel efficiency not just at lower speeds, but at highway speeds as well (a short coming of the HSD, but a huge pitfall of honda's IMA). On top of that infiniti is all about the drivability so it should be quick and fun to drive.

    Lexus has a fight on it's hand for the more fuel efficient luxury car market, now that BMW and Mercedes are introducing their hybrids and diesels. So Lexus better step up to the plate with their offerings (the GS 450h is starting to show its age)
