    Congrats on your sweet ride. :)

    FYI, our calculated mpg always comes out lower than indicated by about 2 mpg.

    Get on Fuelly.com and just enter your info after each fill up to track actual mpg.

    Same here sf... My first fill up was at 472 miles with 8.96 gallons. Trip computer said 47.8 mpg, calculator and Fuelly said 52.7 mpg. Fuelly app on my iPhone likes to crash so I just throw the numbers in once I'm online.

    That seems low, but maybe you're driving up and down hills in SF. My first tank and a half is at 52.3 mpg

    woh, 52mpg! we'll see if I can get up there.. I doubt it as I'm only taking it easy on throttle due to break in.. I'm itching for PWR mode.

    It is hilly in Norcal and not just SF. Impressive NTL with your 52.3 on first tank!

    Hilly in SF and surrounding areas. I can see mpg go down on the hills.. I came from a car with best mpg around 25 so it's more than fine.. and I think it will get better after breakin and I get better. Either way, 40+ is fine in my book... for now..

    Yeah, it should get better especially if you watch the YouTube video on Prius driving techniques. Our first few tanks were in the forties as well, but now they're all in the 50s. :)

    Talk about speedy shipment. Ordered Thursday and got it today. Hitchsource.com. In Oregon.

    Installed in about 30-40 minutes.

    Round tubes look sweet and it's powder coated completely.

    Curt Kit 112761. Basically hitch 11276 with Euro ball and pin.

    If the Persona really doesn't come with JBL speakers, then the salesman I test drove with is full of crap, because he definitely said otherwise. I thought the speakers sounded great, but that would really irk me if he gave me false information.
