If you could tick off any feature offered on any production car currently sold, what would you like to see added to Prius options?

    I would like to see:
    rain sensing wipers,
night vision (a head-up display that is a combination of the best features offered on MB and BMW top models,
automatic stopping in traffic like Volvo xc60,
traffic sensing side radar for blind spot detection as well as for backing out of blind driveways,
    cooled seats,
    HD radio,
    in glass diversity antennaes
In addition, I would like the radar pre-collision detection also work if it could detect a hit from the side and rear.

    anything I forgot?

    That's easy for me.
    I'd like a 2010 Prius with
Sport seats like I had in my Honda Civic Si very supportive and comfortable on long hauls.
    3 Door SKS
Water repellant glass on all windows including the windshield.
2.5 turn to lock steering ratio.
A Place cut into the dash so we can mount our Portable Nav units.
HUD but a better one than they have now.
    Reclining rear seats
    A/C vent to rear passengers.
More useable cupholders front and rear

That would be good too as long as they were very supportive like BMW seats with thigh support. :D

Interesting. Isn't the so-called water repellant windows actually some kind of film that is appied, and if so, why not apply it to rear side windows. As for the w/s, the wipers would probably wear it out and why would you need it anyway when you have the wipers?
I agree with better seats and rear a/c. Maybe even a rear chill box ala Lexus?

Sunroof that doesn't come with a bunch of crap I don't want. Panoramic glass everywhere else on top.

Power memory seats with adjustable lumbar support. Heated for those in cooler climates, not forced on those that aren't. Don't make me get leather to be comfortable.

Dynamic steering ratio. (high ratio when parking, low ratio at speed)

ABS that doesn't physically pump the pedal under my foot.

Get the cupholders out of my face. I don't need 4 per person either.

The water repellant windows are apparantly permanant... Well about 6 years. True I couldn't get them but I am having a treatment applied that will not be permanant but should work just as well for about 6-8 moths, longer on the side windows.
If it's permanant then it won't wear off. :)
If you have ever used stuff like this it's hard to describe but it makes the wipers almost unneeded.
    Here is the actual glass
    Water-repellent glass

I don't want any of the extras offered in the III to V model Prius, the II is fine by me, but I'd love to see a Recaro Equipped package with dark grey interior, with red accents and slightly firmer sports suspension and better looking 17 inch wheels. Maybe this could have a 2.5% lower final drive ratio to improve acceleration although that will reduce top speed marginally and increase consumption slightly too.
