I am completely against allowing RHD cars into Canada. They are DANGEROUS as the person driving them cannot always see properly when merging ONTO a highway. Just last month I almost planted my FJ bumper into the side of such a car. Fortunately the FJ has powerful brakes

 Weird! Never heard of this until now. I didn't notice anything particularly cool. My definition of cool would something like an earlier gen Nissan Skyline GT-R or a [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daihatsu_Copen"]Daihatsu Copen - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame].

edit: Wow, the Figaro, Sera and S Cargo are pretty neat. I think if Toyota revived the Sera and brought it to the US, it might develop a cult following. Same goes for the Nissan Figaro.

Oh wow I didn't know you could get those sorts of cars in Canada. The Nissan Figaro is really popular here with the ladies as a second fun car. They're really cute in a fun retro sort of way. [ame=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_Figaro]Nissan Figaro - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame]

Also didn't realise you got the Toyota Sera [ame=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_Sera]Toyota Sera - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame] either. I'm after getting one of those for a weekend car. The gull wing doors are great, though the back end of the car is very bland 1990's Japanese.

We get a lot of Japanese import cars here as they're much cheaper than similar Euro spec cars and are ideal if you want something a little unusual. I mean, look at the Figaro - you can't get much more unusual than that! :D

On this note, I found Canadian dealer association looks to ban right-hand drive cars — Autoblog today.
