DRL bulb size? possible upgrades?

    Can't see what year/model Prius you have since the update. If you are talking about the LED DRLs on the newer Prii, they are not removable/changeable, unless you get aftermarket DRL kits like the Philips Daylight 8 or 4 (Link, Link 2).

    Would you install these behind the current, clear plastic housing? Or would one remove those triangular lights and replace with the ones you referenced?

    If one of those DRL goes out do you have to replace the entire unit?

    The Philips lights go in the lower grill or under the bumper.

    They have a warranty, the entire unit would be replaced if one LED failed.

    The DRL's on 2012+ models are comprised of a custom-designed LED array located just below your front turn signals in the bumper. They're not user replaceable.
