    Hello,

Last weekend I swapped my son’s 2014 Prius headlights for new ones. I only unplugged the large socket on the drivers side to fully remove the bumper. Now the DRL fog lights would not turn on. The turning signals work perfectly. Only the LED fog lights would not work.

Is there another cable that I missed connecting?

Maybe you didn't fully seat the plug? Raise the front end and place it on jackstands, or use ramps.

You can access the plug/connector from below by undoing the fasteners in the front corner and moving the cover out of the way. Unplug and check the terminals for dirt and grime, or oil, etc. If the terminals look clean, plug in the connector again and make sure it's fully seated and clicked fully into place.

Test while the front is still on jackstands.

    Were they LEDs before?

LEDs aren't always a drop-in replacement. They are polarized, where halogen bulbs are not.

The level that comes from the factory with fog lights also has LED headlights (pictured vehicle does not). Those fog lights I think are halogen. They don’t serve as Daytime Running Lights.

they don’t really serve any useful function lol; it’s hard to see any difference when they’re on versus off.

Found the answer here in the chat. These fog lights would not turn on if your parking break is not released. This was so dumb.
Thanks again Prius Chat and all who contributed.
