    =============

    Just replaced the knock sensor, all toyota documents suggest to remove TB, Intake manifold, drain coolant etc.
    There is no need to remove any of those.

    Remove air filter housing and resonator.

    Remove one 12mm bolt holding the oil dip stick and just move the dip stick out of the way, no need to even pull the dip stick out.

    Now you can access knock sensor, not much space for ratchet, just use a 12mm wrench and remove one bolt and replace the sensor.

    Great thanks. Did you have a problem with the engine knocking and replacing the knock sensor resolved the problem?

    Questions:
    1) Does the above TechInfo doc provide info on the "easy" replacement method (or the normal process)?
    2) Did replacing the knock sensor solve the issue?

    Sorry for the late reply,
    1. No Tech info does not provide EASY replacement.
    2. YES solved the issue by replacing knock sensor, MIL off.
