Does anyone know how the various numbers on the ECO dashboard are calculated?

    Fuel Consumption: 999.9 MPG
Over what time period? Last Day/Week/Month?

    ECO Driving Score: 95/100

    Fuel Consumption: 291.1 mpg
Based on what? Last Day/Week/Month/Since last full charge?

    Fuel Consumption Ranking: 213 rd
213 out of what? Where does this come from?

    ECO Driving Score: 89/100
What does it take to get to 100? What goes into this calculation?

ECO Ranking: 103 rd. Ranked against what?

ECO Challenge: 3/5 What does this mean?

    Thanks

I can only comment on #1,2,3,5.
#1 and #3: it depends on what trip meter you are looking at (A, B or odo)
#2 and #5: it is based on acceleration, consistent speed and stopping. Slow starts and consistent speed with very conservative stopping.
I've only achieved 100 once in a parking lot going only about 500 feet. lol I have had 99 a very few times.
The rest are for the advanced only.

The "Fuel Consumption" in the Summary window is for the current calendar month. 999.9 means that you were pure EV (no gasoline). Pedantically, it should say ∞ or "undefined".

There is also the "Fuel Consumption" for the "Last Drive".

Well I busted my Crippled Snail heinie, and finally got to be (read it and weep!), #1 on the mileage. It just means I've currently driven more miles than other Primes without using any gas; big wupti doo!! Believe me, with all the fairly long trips I took (they exceeded the EV range of my car, around 34 Miles), in the last few days, it was a pain in the donkey. I had to try to find charge stations near my various destinations, as well as charging at clients' homes, etc.!

I'll probably blow it tomorrow, 'cause I have to make a round trip of about 70 miles to Riverside. Hey I know, get a life!!

You charged at clients homes??? That must have been a strange conversation. Did you use to siphon gas from their cars in the old days?

Didn't everyone! I didn't think I was being a little too Gauche! My customers still sometimes give me a little gas! It's hard for them to deal with IT! I probably could keep this up for quite a while, but I'll leave the space for others, so as not to appear too shell fish!!

    .
I never work for free; I always charge my customers; now they're charging me!

And you've got your #1 ranking by driving a million miles a month (641.79 as of yesterday) on EV only. ;)

Now you've got to get that ECO score up. :p:D

Mr. Mark57, your Eco Score rocks!! There's no way I can dodge all the peasants out here and get that kind of score!! It looks like I may remain a mouthless (no tulips!) mega miler Crippled Snail wannabe!! And today, I'm stuck running on petrol for a long trip to Los Angeles. Tomorrow, it's to Bakersfield and my sister's house, over 320 miles round trip!! As the Beatles sang, " 'I'm A Loser', and I'm not what I appear to be...!"

Thanks. I just updated and you're up to 702.66 miles in the first 15 days. I'll never make that metric so I've got to work on the ECO side. Pleasing the driving coach is not easy. It also has quirks that it will punish you for. If you have a stop light that has a leaf on it and the light is green and you breeze through it, the coach gets mad and pulls a bunch of your points. If you can keep going far enough you can regain them over time but if you're close to stopping, you're screwed.

I can please the driving coach much easier in EV then HV mode. There's more fine control in EV so you can "ride the suggested line" much closer and score better.

I had to burn gas 3 days this month so far. Each one was over 150 miles round trip in 24° - 45° weather.

Well they finally kicked me off the echo dashboard! I finally had to use gasoline for my over 320 mile trip to Bakersfield yesterday. The good side: I filled up with 8.9 gallons, now at $2.75.9/gal, having driven 1,849 miles on this tank!! Did I say, I Love my Prime. I left my sister's house with about 4 hours of 110v charge, which yielded approximately 20 more EV miles. My fellow Grapevine drivers know this, I was able to add about 10 miles of "hoarded" EV to my range heading north to Grapevine. I drove a total of almost 7 hours in one day in very heavy traffic!! No the Tesla would not have made it, especially in that time frame!

I saw you were gone from the top. I notice that list gets more "honest" towards the end of each month as users are forced to use some gas.

It truly is a great vehicle. I loved 7 years in my 2010, but for me, my Prime is exponentially better. It's hard for the non-Prime owners to understand.

We have a seriously cold arctic blast coming in Thursday night for about 1 week. Highs in mid 20's with lows in the mid teens. All dry, but it will make for some interesting holiday travel mpg's. It'll make those charts even more "honest". ;)

Do me a favor @Mark57 keep your cold arctic blasts to Oklahoma, don't send them here, in Michigan:eek:
