    this does bode well for EV's. getting away from batteries for storage will be a major watershed event. in all aspects of power generation, the ability to store an appreciable amount of electricity for later use has been the holy grail for technologists.

    High temperature, high flux, high current density superconducting coils will solve that problem, but I'm not holding my breath.
