Update on my Ruien OCC. Fabricated a simple bracket using an L bracket and a 3 inch adjustable clamp. (y)

Thank you, I appreciate the love :) I’m currently sitting idle right now since I haven’t moved into a house. Once everything settle down, we’ll put out more videos.

I’m also waiting for the sienna to come out with their hybrid so I can buy it and film it lol.

    Thank you!

Everyone's favorite job, cleaning out the EGR cooler, what worked well for me is a soak in super clean full power for an hour, gets most of crud out, then spray blaster bolt penetrating spray, it clings to the fins and melts the carbon to a goo, use a med paper clip straightened and poke each gap hole both ends, finish with brake cleaner.

Nicely done. Looks like its supported on the right by the lip of the car body, and in the rear by the lip on the fuse box. Is that correct?

Cant wait to see more videos from you guys.(y) Liked and followed the Facebook page the other day.

BTW, I am going to get a Sienna soon, so no matter how much I want one, I just cannot wait for the Sienna Hybrid arrival. If it comes out MY2019 then it's gonna be a big hurt LOL!

Actually not. Admittedly it's hard to tell in the picture, but the cannister is completely supported by the 3 inch adjustable clamp ring. Doesn't rest on anything else. The L bracket is attached using the far right inverter box bolt. I drilled a hole through the clamp ring and attached it to the L bracket.:D

    I just subscribed.

I find it downright disrespectful for people who watch a video and learn something from it and then don't even bother to give it a "Thumbs Up". It really helps the person doing the video. Not too much to ask.

Lol! I’m waiting for the hybrid sienna as well, I thought they were coming out in 2018 but I guess not. Hopefully in 2019, it’ll be official, if not, I’ll wait for it because I know they’re coming out sooner or later. I don’t like the gas engine because it takes a lot of gas since it’s a V6. So we’ll see haha. Be on the look out when it comes out, we’ll post videos of it for sure. Thanks for the support :)

I like the clamp ring idea a lot...simple and elegant solution. I think I might borrow it when I do mine!

Lol I don’t trust American made vehicle. Ford just had 1.4 million vehicle recall for loose steering wheel or can come off during driving.

Plus, Toyota hybrid has been around longer than
Other makers I’ve known. I’ll take my chances ;)

That’s a sweet set up, I was thinking of something like that as well. I hope it holds up and doesn’t become brittle and break over time from the engine bay vibration.

Guess what day today is! We'll be changing the Inverter and ICE coolants to complete the 120 K service interval. It's also Hazardous waste day at the local recycling center.
