EGR cleaning seems to be an issue and not so easy for disassembly and cleaning.

Anyone find a "trick" to reduce the carbon build up?
Such as, my thoughts: High RPM driving, Use of Techron, more frequent engine oil changes?

Oil Catch Can may slow down the carbon build up.

More frequent cleanings? Maybe carbon build-up accelerates with accumulations.

If your going to keep your car a long time I recommend getting a spare egr cooler. That way you can swap the clean one out and reduce the down time and trouble. I bought one for $40.

Change the piston rings to reduce blowby... but yours should have been updated from the factory

Scheduled changing/cleaning of the PCV valve should help prevent blow-by?
