Eibach Springs and KYB Struts REVIEW

    I had the same problem with my lowered '06, Touring wheels and the fattest Bridgestone RE-01s that would fit.

    Tire ended up wearing through the plastic wheel well; no more scraping after that.

    It was a really small area, nothing major.

    I had the TRD package on the car and felt that the dampers could have been a bit stiffer, but overall a huge improvement. Perhaps it was the weight of the tires, that extra unsprung weight. That's my hypothesis.

    The RE-01s didn't do a thing for mileage but looked great; that decision was a bit of overkill, I suppose, in hindsight. You're right about more aggressive driving, the car had more to give and it was sometimes difficult to restrain myself.
