    The Cleantech Threshold - BusinessWeek

"I believe we’re nearing a crossover point in a key area of cleantech—electric cars. Over the coming months, two leading e-car models, the Nissan (NSANY) Leaf and the Chevy (GM) Volt, will expand beyond limited test markets. The global launches will be supported by new business models for creating a charging infrastructure."

Where is the price of electricity? Without it, the analysis is useless.

not much info on how they got to those assumed costs. there's a parenthetical in the story about comparing the cost of gas to electricity, but nothing that directly says it was factored in, or at what assumed price per kWh.

    They used "avg." utility costs.
