MapPoint does not take time of day or day of week into consideration, when suggesting a route. However, it will change a route depending on whether you choose shortest time or shortest distance.

I was just celebrating my personal best... 600 miles on one tank and a 9 gallon fillup with 1 solid pip left on guess gage. You've deflated my ego :(

Sorry about that. Most certainly was not my intent. You should be proud of 600 miles with 9 gal. That's well over 66 mpg!! Very impressive! I'm absolutely certain you could also get 80 mpg tanks, if you were to drive the same routes & have similar driving habits as me.

    Good luck! :)

Not really sure. That's one aspect of the hybrid system/display I never bothered to learn the meaning. What are those symbols supposed to represent, anyway? Surely, they can't be how much power you have regenerating back into the battery pack... because during my typical drive, my SOC is constantly going up & down from 6 to 3 bars.

afaik that's exactly what they are. I don't understand how you can go all that way without having any regen to the battery. I'll defer that question to the experts. btw, I think they are green leaves, not turtles... took reading glasses to figure that one out. :D
