Have recently purchased Gen 111 base model (Australia). Vehicle returned from dealer (Had Front Park Assist Sensors fitted) today without ASL (Automatic Sound Levelling) operating in radio. No one seems to know how to turn ASL back on. Radio will cycle through Base, Treble, Balance and Fader controls, but no option to set ASL level. This was available pre the vehicle going to the dealer. Anyone have any idea where / How to re-enable ASL ??

Radio Unit fitted is believed to be a Fujitsu model (Dealers still trying to figure it out). Anyone with any idea of programing codes or how to enter programming mode of this unt that may enable the ASL feature to be re-enabled ??

Car has been back to Dealer again to search for issue. (No ASL) within radio.

    Unit is a Fujitsu Ten AM/FM /CD / MP3 combination Unit.

Both the dealer and Fujitsu looked at vehicle to identify the cause of the issue. Nothing apparently found by Fujitsu, but dealer / With local Toyata rep. has found that the Radio relies upon the Speed sensor out put from the Control unit attached to the rear of the Speedometer cluster. Their testing has indicated that there is input signal to this control unit but no output coming from it. Hence the belief that the control unit is faulty either on Manufacture (It was working) or as a result of something that was done during the installation of Front Parking sensors ?

Anyone know or experienced issues with the speed sensor or the control unit at the rear of the instrument cluster ??? Heard of this before ? Car too new in Australia for dealers and even Toyota to know at this stage. Looks like a 3 - 4 week or probably longer, wait for replacement parts from Japan
