    I'm in. Thanks for the offer, Wayne, but this Portland girl's gonna try it alone. I did the EV mod and the DICE, so I'm ready to put her up on blocks and try this one, too.

    Didn't that guy with the smoking block heater have a Gen I heater when he should have had a Gen II? Hence the smoke?

    Danny or the group as a whole.......
    Was just wondering how many have actually been paid for so far... think it is over 50 ???
    I purchased 4 thru google checkout......had to do it 4 individual times, grumbling the whole time, vs selecting how many I wanted. How many?? lets see if we as a group can come to a running count to date. Danny seems so busy lately.

    I'm guessing that if we have until the 19th to get our order in, they might not ship until after the 19th when the entire Priuschat order is accumulated.

    This item is seasonal. It is only manufactured one time per year. It becomes available after the 2nd week of August. I have asked Jesse for a date that the orders will be shipped. Maybe he will post soon so we have a concrete answer on the availability and shipping date. Danny.....do you have the info for everyone??

    Ok, everybody. Sorry for not having updated this thread sooner - the 9-5 job was an absolute killer this week.

    The good news - we have 90 buyers already!

    So the main question that is outstanding is "When are they shipping?" The answer to that question is still un-confirmed, but I can say that I hope they will ship before the group buy closes on the 19th. I will keep everyone updated as they ship.

    Thank you for the phenomenal response to this group buy, and thank you for those of you who have started organized group installs. If you are organizing a group install and would be interested in receiving a bulk shipment of units for the PC members you are going to help with their installation that would be very appreciated. Please PM or email me if you would like to organize a bulk shipment.

    Gen 1 Owners: If you secured your spot in the Group Buy by purchasing through Google Checkout and plan on installing it in a 2001-2003 Prius, please email or PM me with your name so that I can make sure that the correct EBH is sent out to you.

    I just ordered mine. I'd been thinking about it for a while now but had decided to wait because I wasn't sure if the installation would result in an unattractive appearance with wiring and a dangling plug. From what I've seen here, it looks like the plug can be recessed and tucked away nicely. I hope that Wayne can stop by if he comes out west.

    Ok, guys, due to the overwhelming response we've had to close the group buy early. There were 107 units bought! Wow!!!

    Now, to the next phase of this process: Shipping them out.

    Because of the tight price, I am hoping to ship some of them in a bulk shipment to FireEngineer for those that he will be helping to install the EBH. If you are having Wayne help you install yours (and he has agreed), and wouldn't mind having your unit shipped to Wayne, please post in this thread.

    We are really tight on the pricing of the units, and any help in bulk shipping the units would really help.
