Been 10 days...I'm no closer to installing my paid-for EBH. what seems to be the hold-up? Actually, according to the ad above and the crossed out dates it's been 2 weeks! Really could use a way to track this...although my CU has let me know I've been charged.

 

If you read back through the thread, they'll ship as soon as Wayne is back and gives Danny a list of who's has been installed so Danny knows who to ship to and who already got theirs installed personally.

I believe this is the message you speak of Godiva and no where in this message does it say that after Wayne get the bulk shipment "and is done with the installs" that everyone else will get thiers. So this list went to Jesse about 13 days ago from what the above message says... so I was wondering about shipping. That is all.

Someone said there was going to be another "Group Buy". I want to buy the Block Heater even if I have to pay full price. Wayne said he would install it at the Cincinnatti group install on October 7.

Maybe you did not read the above post. There is another thread that says that Fireengineer(Wayne) went on a EBH install/ vacation and took 35 block heaters with him. I have not kept count but the trip was extensive. He was to let Danny/Jesse(metro) know when he returned exactly how many he installed and who got thiers. It is a group buy and it takes some time and lots of patience. It is very frustrating to not have the PM's answered but how many messages a day do you think Danny gets??? I have also PM'ed Danny. He is a busy guy...he has a full time job and does PC secondary to that job. I am sure you will get yours soon. I just want mine before November. Hope this helps.

Well, my issue was no invoice, no contact from Danny. I did happen to get in touch with Wayne via email and told him I cannot meet but wanted the EBH anyway to have my buddy install it. I understand Danny is busy and all, but I was one of the early ones to order and others have already received an invoice AND paid and some have the product already. Communication is key. It is just rude to ignore a PM over and over. I'd rather have bad news, good news, or tell me to go to h*ll, just tell me something!

 

How did you place your order? I did mine through Google Checkout. I was sent email confirmation that the order was received as well as a link that shows dates when my CC was charged. Did you check your CC statement? Mine was charged on the 20th. So if its not there... sigh, i hope i get mine soon.

Do you think the EBH will attrack mice because of the heat generated when the vehicle is parked outside?

 

Yeah,good point,any heat source will attract mice....but just the residual heat from the engine will attract them too....They love to eat engine wiring around here....I have no solution beyond Warfarin,whic h I am not fond of....but the rodents can be incrdibly destructive...One ate my entire primary wireset down to the carbon core!...Even cats can't keep em at bay....
