Engine maintains high rev with foot off the gas pedal

I installed it too fast to take time for pics of the cells. The two pics I posted is all I had time for. I spoke with the engineers at the facility in Kansas and I will say this. They manufacture their own batteries. They are not hydrogen cell batteries which is what a remanufactured battery would be. The typical venting that is found in the old Gen2 set is no longer required.

I happy to report that after 6 tanks of fuel the Prius is averaging 47 mpg.

 

For what you paid you could have gotten a brand new Toyota Factory battery.

 

It would be awesome if, when you get a chance, to get a pic of the cells and upload it here. Admittedly it requires a lot of dismantling to get to that point! Were the cells prismatic or cylindrical?

 

I paid $1800.00 Toyota wanted $2700.00

 

No way I have an actual life.
