Engine removal

Hi guys, goodevening. Pls I'm in the process of trying to rebuild the engine of a 2006 hihy next week. I don't want to remove the engine and transaxle together, but would want to just remove the engine alone after removing all wire harnesses at the inverter/converter assembly.

I have checked to see there are bolts holding the flex plate/flywheel to the transaxle, but can't see any, when I rotated the engine.

Is there a way to detach the flex plate or transmission system from the engine, or there are some other things that is holding the flex plate in place?
