Engine Temp Info/Gauge

    While the Scan Gauge can program, I don't know how, nor do I know the codes and their purpose. Also, I would be wary of changing any codes while the car is under warranty. I kind of like the appeal of the UltraGuage. granted it is just reading the passive codes but what else do I need? In any case I want to be able to exchange the unit between vehicles as I really have more use for it in the other vehicle.

    You can easily move the Scangauge from vehicle to vehicle.

    I've owned a 2009 Civic Hybrid and 2012 Prius. Both cars had oversized radiators for such small engines. Neither burned any oil. I wouldn't say it's impossible to overheat the engine, but it's very difficult. You would probably have to sustain redline rpm for several minutes to get the oil too hot. In both cars, I've never seen coolant temps over 201°F/94°C.
