Entune- 2014 prius package 3

    I have my 2014 Prius for 2 weeks and still learning how to use entune.
    Can someone please tell me why the email, calendar, and pictures are grey out?? It's not available to use.
    I have plugged in my iPhone 5 and managed to get pandora to work.

    I have checked the entune version is 2.2.0.

    are you using an iphone?
    to enable Text - you have to turn on notification on your iphone.
    Apple does not support email, calendar.
    Symbian is the only OS that supports Calendar, but they (Nokia) are out of the phone biz. No phone marker is adding that feature in the Bluetooth stack.
    As for Pictures, it will only show up when you insert a USB stick with pictures and stationary.

    Thanks for the info.

    I'm currently using iPhone at 6.1.4. Do I enable the notification under setting-> notification and select one of the alert style?

    I'm actually using google voice for txt. And will google voice work?[​IMG]

    Go to Settings -> Bluetooth -> click on the info icon beside the device -> select to enable notification.
    note only new sms will show up as its A notification.

    Siri/Google voice will not work with the Push2Talk button on the steering wheel.
    U can try pushing the button on the phone and see if it works in away.

    ask the Toyota manager here if they will enable siri/google voice

    I have heard the entune will read out the txt after receiving txt message. This is what i was trying to get it to work.

    Maybe I'm missing something or iPhone will not work..

    oh.. that is easy.
    when u have an incoming text, go to Phone and select message. Select the msg you want and when the car is moving system will automatically read it out to you.
