I'm running Android ver 122.611.281.xxxxxxxx of the Entune app. I've noticed some oddities on my Prime Advanced on the app ECO Dashboard. Nothing big, just odd.

Both clocks on my vehicle are set the same and match my cell phone (Samsung S6). After I drive and shut the vehicle down and then check the app ECO monitor, the screen "updated" time displayed on the app ECO summary page is way off and is usually about 45 minutes earlier than the time I checked it and/or shut the vehicle off. Doing an app refresh has no effect.

My fear is not all of the just completed drive statistical data was uploaded or is not available. The screen update time will not change no matter how long I wait and refresh it and the numbers stay the same. Anyone else see this?

The other oddity. I changed the display name of my vehicle on the web account management page a couple of weeks ago. The name change HAS appeared on the app charge mgmt, charge station map, remote climate and the vehicle finder pages, but it has NOT changed on the app ECO dashboard. Log off, does not change it.

I sent both of these scenarios to Toyota asking what gives. No answer yet.

I also asked if is there a way to access previous month daily stats as displayed in the app ECO monitor?

I just now did another test. I drove for a few miles and returned home and powered the car off at 3:52pm. I opened the ECO dashboard at 3:55pm. The time stamp shows 3:40pm and still my old vehicle name. The drive started before 3:40pm. Perhaps it only uploads at a certain interval?

Has anything changed on the phone recently? Any Android updates, installed 3rd party apps? Also, the icon on the top left of your notification bar seems to indicate you're not connected to mobile data. That could be a problem.

Nope. It's pristine. App removed, reinstalled, etc. I used to do the whole support thingy. ;) The data is not stored on the phone.

Does your device have a power management system that restricts apps from syncing by time interval?

I'd try wiping the cache partition, that can work wonders on devices that have been used awhile.

Check back on December 1st for your vehicle name change on the ECO dashboard.

Good thought, but the app is not running all the time. It's only opened after the drive is over. To diagnose this, the phone is not connected to the car in any way, nor is it even in the vehicle, nor is it connected to mobile data during the drive. It's been completely isolated to diagnose this.

I've tried it both ways connected via BT with Entune running like normal and Faraday cage style isolated with the same results.

I did this last week when I was trying to get the vehicle name to change.

I need feedback from someone driving a Prime that has access to the ECO dashboard.

    1. Drive
    2. Power off the car and note the exact time on your car and phone.
    3. Open and Check the time stamp on the ECO dashboard and compare.

I wondered about that since it's only the ECO dashboard that has not changed.

    UPDATE: I figured it out.

The timestamp on the upper right of the ECO dashboard is the START TIME of your current session. I was expecting it to be the end time, but it isn't. It has nothing to do with the cell phone being on or off or being connected via BT or not.

I went on a series of drives to prove this. Let me define my terms.

Driving session = all driving between power on and power off
Driving segment = all driving after power on, until the vehicle comes to a dead stop yielding a new drive coach score

    Test 1. Phone powered off
    Car powered on/moved 8:30am
    segment stop 8:34am
    segment stop 8:37am
    car powered off 8:37am
    phone turned on, check dashboard
    ECO dashboard timestamp 8:30am

    Test 2. Phone powered off
    Car powered on 8:39am
    Car moved at 8:40am
    segment stop 8:41am
    segment stop 8:44am
    segment stop 8:46am
    segment stop 8:48am
    segment stop 8:52am
    segment stop 8:53am
    car powered off 8:53am
    phone turned on, check dashboard
    ECO dashboard timestamp 8:40am

I did 3 more of these tests. I tried combinations with the phone connected with BT and it made no difference. I also tried putting the car in park instead of a power off and putting it in park did not start a new "session" rather it just continued like a new "segment" of the same session.

So, the update timestamp as shown below is NOT the end time of your driving session, it's the start time when your car was last powered on and when it first moved. Just a power on does not start a session.

You can debate whether start or stop time is best. It just wasn't obvious to me.

Man, tough crowd. :p I'm working on it. I've only had 3 months and only two of those were warm. I might grow potatoes instead.

Checked entune at noon and it listed her start time of 8am. Then I checked again after she got home at 6:15pm, and it was last updated 5:45pm as she started her home trip. So the time stamp on the upper right of the ECO dashboard is listing LAST START TIME. Makes me wonder if the eco dashboard stats are updated upon the next vehicle start up.

They are up to date when you launch the app dashboard.
