EnTune App Suite Update ... ?

    Strange problem this morning. My car was not fully charged by 7am based on my schedule, and was stuck at 79% from yesterday. I got a pop-up for a mandatory EnTune App Suite update as well.

    I kicked off the download process while I drove my kids to school but it kept timing out. Finally, I had to park somewhere and let it download completely. When it finished downloading, I clicked on Details to see what the update was about and it indicated that it is the Initial Release of the App Suite. After installation, it looks like the same set of apps as well.

    So basically, the EnTune app suite reset overnight and prevented my charging schedule as well it appears. Anyone else experienced this?

    Well one thing that I noticed is when my car finished charging I would usually get an email telling me it completed, not this time so I went on the Entune app on the phone and re set the service levels as soon as I did that my charge management app updated

    Same thing happen to me as I was driving today. All my apps suddenly disappeared and I was forced to load an "update". After it loaded, the screen told me that it was a newly installed Entune sweet and all my settings were reset. Very annoying.

    I got the message to update today also. Tried once and it timed out. When you said the settings were reset, did you lose your spot on the Eco driving boards, too? :(

    if you don't have a reliable 4G signal then it will inevitably repeat the downloading/installing process until it completely receives all of the data.:cry:

    No, I mean the installation process from this morning completed. Then the event was triggered again and I have to restart the whole thing again. It is TWICE in one day.

    When the download is completed, it proceeds to the Installation stage, then it shows a Completion screen. Only after that, the EnTune apps will show up again.

    Why is it so hard for you to trust what I am telling you?

    I trust you. But Toyota is not being completely honest when you get to the completion screen

    I think something else is happening, especially when other drivers are experiencing this problem on the same day. I suspected that I was not the only one and I was right. Just wondering if there is a time bomb or glitch in the code.

    That's usually what happens when you don't have a reliable signal during the whole download/installation process.

    just curious, did any of you who were experiencing the repeated download/install process did it finally complete and cease to repeat itself? or is it an ongoing occurrence?

    and I am referring to why this bug happened to all of us TODAY and not randomly on just any day/dates ... that's the glitch I was referring to PriusCat

    Makes me glad Entune isn't available in Canada. It still seems buggy.

    It he update/reset didn't seem to effect the Eco score. It reset all my audio settings and notifications.
