Has anyone done this? Looks easy enough with the kit. I would like to do it so I can have Waze on the screen unfortunately I have the stock radio which I believe has a lower resolution screen than the jbl correct? Not sure if it’s worth it.

You have to get the tool kit from them and do it yourself or know a stereo guy. I am wondering what it will look like on my base model screen vs the jbl. I don’t even know if I have the right connections as in the video he installed on the jbl upgraded system.

The pros at Beat-Sonic installed it.
I like it. Use it to mirror videos onto the NAV screen when I am stopped (Like MLB games).
The only con is that the resolution is a step down from my iPhone.

So I take it that an aftermarket mod is the only way to do this mirroring? Does anyone know if it would void the warranty in any way?

I do wish Toyota had an option that also let us do MirrorLink to use Google Maps with all its features. Then would have best of both worlds, built in nav when no cell signal, Google or Waze, etc when you do.
