I just bought this new prius prime and will pickup tomorrow. So sometime tomorrow, my new Prius will be parked next to my old 2014 Prius.

How is entune going to work when I have 2 Priuses? If i drive the prime and the old Prius every other day, how is the entune going to configure? Is there any conflict?

Also. I located at Bay Area. Can any one recommend any electrician to add a 240v in my garage? And what is the price?

    there's 2 places to add a vehicle to your entune account;

    1) within the app, click the settings (cog icon), My Account, and click Add Vehicle

    2) Login to your account at myentune.com, click on Vehicles on the left menu bar, and click the Add Vehicle button

You'll need the VIN and if you're getting Safety Connect service, the contract ID #.

I don't know the nuts and bolts of how it would actually work with 2 vehicles, but it seems logical that you might have to log in to each vehicle to use the Entune app suite? Might have to call the Toyota Customer LIne 1-800-331-4331 and ask the friendly folks there.

They were very helpful cancelling the Safety Connect subscription on old Plug-in, and setting up new service on Prime in about 4 or 5 minutes.

    Thanks for the recommendation.

Another charging question. I just found out that my second refrigerator in my garage is also sharing the circuit with my prime. It's a 15A circuit.

Is there any concern in over loading?

A refrigerator uses about 1.5A to run, but as much as 15A to start. I suspect that will be fine even if you are charging at 12A and the refrigerator starts, but it depends on the time/current relationship of your circuit breaker.

Since this is the Entune question thread, I have an Entune question. Ever since I turned the media volume to maximum so it will play at a decent volume in my Prime, when I shut off the car and exit the car the music is still playing on my phone (Pandora). I don't see any way to discontinue the playing of the music on my phone except to restart my phone. That can be really annoying. Any suggestions?

This is standard Bluetooth behavior. You need to pause or stop Pandora before you turn off the car. This also happens with Bluetooth headsets if you shut them off while Pandora is playing. The quick way is to hit the left button (between the volume up and down) quickly twice. This mutes the audio source. I believe it pauses Pandora as well. If that doesn't work, push 'stop' on the audio screen.

If I shut off my 2004 while I'm playing music through BT, it certainly does not lock up the phone or disable the controls. I just hit stop on the music app if I want it to stop or I just close the app.

He didn't say it locked up his phone. The audio path on the phone just changes to the available output, and since the Bluetooth is gone, the phone speaker takes the source. He just need to switch to the app and stop it.

    Then what did this mean?

"I don't see any way to discontinue the playing of the music on my phone except to restart my phone."

I'd call that a lockup if you can't end an application.

I have a different Entune question.

Why would I want it? Other than being able to set the charge schedule and climate control remotely - and that only with a Safety Connect subscription - what does it do that's actually useful?

Assuming that you add the other vehicle in your Entune app, I would assume that when you start a car and your phone connects to it via bluetooth, the entune app know which vehicle it is connected to. If you enable all the features with a new Service Contract ID, then you can locate your Prime remotely and see its charging status and set remote climate controls when you are away from the vehicle.
