Error Message in Japanese Prius 2012

    I have a Toyota Prius 2012 with 90000km (56000 miles) on it. This message is indicated in the dashboard. Can you please explain this code in English?
    Bought recently. Need to know the issue before going to a local mechanic.

    The text says: ハイブリッドツステムインジクーター
    In Romaji (with spaces added for clarity): Haiburiddo Tsusutemu Injikuutaa

    I think this means "Hybrid System Indicator". (Google Translate comes to the same conclusion.) So, it's not an error message. However, I do see a warning light on the left side of the photo. Unfortunately, part of the light is cut off, but if it's the one I think it is, then this is the description from the Toyota Owners website for my 2010 Prius (I imagine the meaning is similar for your Prius):

    It's not a warning message. As Barry said above, it's just a title for that screen - the Hybrid System Indicator.
