I've recently orderd my 2009 (2010 in the US) Prius in the Dutch 'Aspiration' trim. This doesn't include the fancy HDD nav, but i opted for the TNS510 navigation as a dealer option. I have some questions i haven't been able to answer...

I wonder if there are people who have used this system (in any Toyota, or the new Prius)?

    - How did you like the system?
    - Is the screen ok, or is it tilted back to much?
    - Do the steeringwheel controls work with the system?
    - Does the HUD show navigation arrows, like it does with the HDD system?
    - How did the bluetooth carkit work?

    Hi Roever,

I doubt that there will be many ppl here with experience with the TNS510 apart from the Europeans that already own a new IQ, Auris,
Avensis, etc. I found lots of info on the english IQ site and some info from some of the Avensis riders in The Netherlands.
Most of them seemed to like the system.
The screen looked fine to me when I saw it in the Avensis.
The bluetooth carkit worked fine according to the ppl that used it.
I hope to get my Aspiration with TNS510 in about 2/3 weeks so I´ll let you know asap. Be sure to check out the dutch forum as well at Toyota Prius NL Forum • Forumoverzicht
A manual can be found here Toyota Service Information

Thanks for the info and the Dutch forum, I'm going to read it.

I would love to hear about your experience when you get your car (and ofcourse others who can tell me something about the navigationsystem). I hope you will post some pics of the first Dutch Prius here.

I'll get mine in november, so I'ts going to be a long summer!
