Learned from a decade of Gen-1 and Gen-3 driving, our plug-in hybrids:
    • Use preconditioning to cool or warm cabin before going to car.
    • Use AC in warm sticky weather instead of windows.
    • Drive with no regard to acceleration.
In effect EV efficiency and low cost means the Prius practices are fading into obscurity.

Yeah that's the beauty of electric driving; having your cake and getting to eat it too. (y)

Having said that, I still use my hybrid ingrained skills and get better range/efficiency than other drivers of my car.

You're posting to the only known, USA, Gen-3 Prius owner who got 1,000 miles on a single tank of gas?

So do we need to see who can reach 50 miles on a single Prius Prime charge?

I think you misunderstood. I was referring to my family members driving my personal vehicle.
