Yea.... US-centric everything is in free fall everywhere around the world. When once everyone looked to the US, now they try as hard as possible to look in the other direction because quite frankly US is really gross these days. The antithesis if inspiring global leadership.

This is an excellent example of how people in the US no longer know how to speak in complete sentences or use proper punctuation and grammer. Thus, it's hard to even understand what they're saying anymore.

Unfortunately, the Chinese has become the leading innovators in electric vehicles. We look back and look for the "good ole days" and tho return to the 1950's to "Make America Great Again." It's like Great Britain looking back to Rudyard Kipling's days of the "white man's burden and the noble savage."

Yep... And the craziest is how they go on and on like a broken record with political viewpoints of US as a dominant empire as sun is setting on all that. The latest nonsense I read today was how the coup in Bolivia was specifically so the US could stop China from controlling the world's Lithium resources. Funny part is China has controlled not just Lithium processing for battery makers, but it also controls most of the sourcing operations for the raw material globally. The US has been too busy with it's head up its arse to realize the value of such forward looking resources.

After WWI, Britain lamented their loss of dominance on the economic and financial world stage, while Germany blamed the Jewish money lenders in New York who financed the war on both sides.

World dominance does not last forever and is always a work in progress. Looking back to the ways things were makes one feel maybe good, but innovation makes the future great. They can steal and use past intellectual property. They can't steal one's mind and future innovations.

Because they have a functional state department that fits hand in glove with counter intelligence operations, as well as financing to ensure impoverished countries sign all their resources away... That routine in the US was neutralized in 2017 when all state department senior staff that loyally served Dems and Repubs alike for 40+ years resigned under new leadership that is interested in simpleton dumbassery like buying Greenland and asking foreign countries to engage in fake investigations of domestic political opponents.

Intellectual theft has happened since the beginning of time.

The British stole the seeds of Hevia braziliensis for rubber and conquered the Moguls of India to seize the cotton trade.

The British East India Company's steamship Nemesis conquered the Chinese during the Opium Wars. We are still living the results today with Hong Kong.

As we are with the Sykes Picot Agreement in the Middle East.

And, China "cow towed" to the West since the Opium Wars, the Boxer Rebellion and the Republic of Chang Ky Shek..

What's new now? If just China can afford the influence and cost of the "Belt and Road Initiative," and we can't. If the situation was reversed, be assured that the West would do the same thing.

It's called the "free market" of commerce. You go to the store and buy the commodities like groceries at the best price. Unfortunately, the Chinese provided the best price for 50 years or more.

The Chinese invested well. We just did the same thing over and over again for the same period thinking the situation and market would last forever..

It's like two teenagers who get their first job stocking and sweeping the floor in a hardware store.

Forty years later, one is still stocking and sweeping the floor in the same hardware store. The other owns three hardware stores.

It's like when I visited the Walmart Supermarket a few days, ago. There was apparently a 70 year old man wheeling a pallet on a pallet truck with collapsed cardboard boxes. Does anyone think he's working there, because he enjoys it?

China apparently planned and is planning for their future as Japan did in the 1960's. They knew that their low birth rate could not provide the cheap labor in the future.

They worked hard, saved and invested, while working like dogs for many years. Now, they are enjoying their investment into their future from years, ago. While, we are jealous of their success and long to return to past glory. It won't happen.
