EVSE Future proof? or Overkill

    Months ago, we picked up a new wall charger that'll do over 19kW's if needed .... but we seldom dial our rate - up to 11kW's. Still its there, just in case.
    Now - some entrepreneurial folk have not only bested our nearly 20kW overkill system, they've packaged it in a portable device that can nor only run on single phase - with its slew of adapters - for both ends, receptacle & varying charge ports - it can even handle 3 phase.

    Are there any on board EV chargers that can even handle that much power from an EVSE yet?

    Not in the US, but in the EU where this is sold they might.

    The Renault Zoe can handle up to 43 kW three phase AC charging, or at least earlier models did. Seems they dropped it to 22kW. If the 43 and 22 kW chargers are public ones, why would you need this EVSE.
