After reading reviews of Rain-x and related products, I ordered something caused Aquapel. It's purportedly easier to use because of the applicators it comes in.

Has anyone used this on their windshields? If so, would you recommend it?

Last fall I bought a bunch of Aquapel applicators on eBay. I'm very satisfied with how well they work. Windshields, side windows, Prime rear window, it all works well and lasts a long time...still good from the fall application. Didn't last as long as I'd hoped on the shower glass door, though.

Seems like the reviews on Rain X are better than Aquapel and its cheaper.
    Have not used either myself

Having used both, I'll use Aquapel again. Rain-X has a shorter life. The coating Rain-X puts on the windshield, if the windshield is at a certain angle, has a lot of glare with oncoming headlights.

Aquapel is awesome. No complaints. Lasts for months. Rain x doesn't last long.
