Extended Warranty on 2008 w/ 77k

    77,000 miles. Clean carfax.
    From a lot. $1400 for 5 years, 50,000 miles.
    We put on 16,000-18,000 miles a year.
    Our last 2008 Prius had 147,000 miles.
    Never a single problem. Till it was totalled last week.
    But for $1400 is it worth it?
    I am on the fence. Any ideas? Thanks

    I would decline adding the extended warranty. Maybe, MAYBE, if it covered the traction battery.
