OK, my EV mod page has never been any great shakes, but it does have some pointers to the instructions that we all know and love by the guys who invested LOTS of time doing them for us (thanks!).

I've now gone from the high-beam actuation to the factory EV button (complete with dimmable LED light!) and love it. I took some pictures and did a limited write-up. Old news around these parts these days... but hey, I've been out traveling all summer, and this was my first chance to get it in. Works great, of course. Just like it did before I spent all this extra money and time. ;)

Pss! The links to the LED mods in console and glovebox don't work.

PLEASE feel free to point out anything broken on my site! I've removed those links... they pointed to articles on PC that seem to be missing today. :(

They might be moved to a different server after the last crash?

Could be. Easiest to just remove them. I'll look for them again later... like when I actually get around to the mod!

In the meantime... how about that 2006 factory EV button!

Thanks for the nice writeup! At $69, it's not very much for the kit and the results look good.

Now if I could only decide if I would even use this feature!

Having this feature available was one of the compelling reasons I went with the Prius over the Honda, actually. Many times that I need to move short distances and don't want the cold ICE to fire.

Thanks for the compliments. I think I should take the top "totaled" picture off that page though. Scares too many people!)

Dude, I really like the totaled pic! The people it scares, have no business doing electrical mods. :)
