    Hello,
First post here. Hopefully this is the right place ;)

I have the dreaded P0A80 code and know I'm due for a new traction battery at this point. I'm over 200K miles so it's had a good run. I read around some and it looks like a new pack and installation is going to run roughly $3K or more. I've seen some other write ups where a refurb pack and install at various locations runs from $700 on up.

With that being said I'm hoping someone may know of a good shop or person in the DC metro area who can do refurb pack installs (or at least a good person/place to chat with)... Can anyone help point me in a good direction? Thanks!

Sorry, I don't know of any but maybe @wjtracy does (or knows someone who can recommend one).

I replaced my battery two days ago at an independent local shop. It was $2200 for a reconditioned Dorman battery. Can't help with the DC area

Did you go through the whole "balancing" act? Or just replace the cells and hope for the best?
