Tesla Will More Than Double Production & Deliveries In Q2 2019
According to the recent Elon Musk email to all employees, the current quarter could be a record one in terms of the number of Tesla cars delivered.
Elon wrote that there is a chance to exceed the 90,700 delivered in Q4 2018 (the last quarter of full $7,500 federal tax credit and before the Tesla Model 3 expansion outside of North America), but production of 1,000 Tesla Model 3 per day will be required in June, compared to an average of about 900/day during the first part of the quarter.

Want to charge up? EVgo builds chargers at Chevron gas stations
If electric cars need more public places to charge, maybe they could just go to gas stations.
That seems to be the approach behind the latest installations of EVgo stations in California.
The company, which bills itself as the largest operator of DC fast charging stations in the U.S., formed an alliance with Chevron to install up to 12 DC fast chargers at 5 Chevron stations in California.
The first of these stations opened on Monday in Menlo Park, in the Silicon Valley. Others are under construction, and will offer chargers with 50 to 100 kilowatts, which can recharge a car at a maximum rate of about 6 miles per minute (until the battery reaches its "bulk charge" of 80 percent.)

Hybrids lead the way for Toyota Canada
16.7% of April sales were hybrids. The RAV4 Hybrid sold 2112 units out of 6,847 or about 33% of sales (well outselling the 1st gen Camry Hybrid at 20% of Camry sales back in 2007).

Of Movies And EVs
The latest Avengers movie has Audi EVs in it and for effect, the EVs have, with Audi's help, engine sounds added for dramatic effect! Audi says they helped, since their EVs are to have sounds due to government edict. One of the article commenters said that he thought the cars weren't electric because of the engine sounds. To me, this doesn't sound like much help to the EV cause. I guess you have to give a little to take a little.
With the forthcoming James Bond movie having an EV Aston Martin, makes me wonder if it too will have a growling V12 sound emitting from the theatre speakers. Next, EVs in the Fast And Furious movies.
