The charger plug is on robot arm. I think the rest is self explanatory. The article has a video(might have to turn off adblocker).

There are limitations in that the car needs extra equipment to open and close the charge port door, and communicate with the robot. Plus, the arm may need a larger motion range for other models. Wireless chargers have similar requirements though.
