Also if you have a major oil burn problem there is a more direct approach of applying 100% Sea Foam directly to the rings. This method this is detailed here:

This method works VERY WELL BUT YOU DO HAVE TO CLEAN OUT THE PISTON ACCESSES PORTS FIRST OR YOU WILL GET DIRT IN THE ENGINE.

There is also Sea Foam spray with can be directly sprayed into the air intake. I have not tried that yet. It is easier than than the above.
