This update is about the ADAC keyless security tests and the solutions how to protect your car.
A year ago (2016) the German automotive organisation ADAC tested 24 different vehicles with keyless technology from 19 different manufacturers (all positive, incl. RAV4).

RAV-4 Hybrid

The 2017 RAV4 Hybrid combines the power from a 2.5-liter Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder engine and a small high-torque electric motor through its transaxle. The software does some essential work but the RAV4 Hybrid delivers combined 194 system horsepower and Toyota maintains the RAV4 Hybrid can jump from zero to 60 mph in 8.1 seconds.
Of course, the RAV4 hybrid needs some extra power to carry around the electric motors battery pack, but the extra weight is put to good use in the vehicles driving dynamics. Toyota also has bolstered the RAV4 Hybrid’s suspension and regenerative braking pack for some additional stopping power, which is welcome because over the years, I’ve found Toyota brakes feel somewhat soft but that’s not the case with this vehicle.

Tesla earns highest ranked American car brand by Consumer Reports
It must drive CR nuts ... blasting Tesla quality issues, yet the nutty owners love their rides anyway.
From the chart, Porsche is sort of in the same boat ... quality doesn't match up with CR's claim of "unreliable"
IMO, Tesla has the great advantage right now of being the only game in town - & that's the only explanation one might possibly come up with to reconcile CR's consternation - thinking owners must certainly despise the cars that they despise. But to CR's chagrin, it just doesn't happen.
