You are right Clinton signed NAFTA, something that 3 Presidents before him pushed for, was it good, no, and only because it wasn't meant to be good, it was a facade by American business that it would be. NAFTA has destroyed more poor families and income in the countries it was supposed to do good for, its only been good for wealthy corporations, the very groups it was REALLY designed to help.

Every president since Nixon has promoted China's rise, it has had its good and bad, the worse example of a president and their push for China's growth and expansion has been GWB, the American people gave them the trade deficit, and GWB gave them even more economic clout with our ever expanding National Debt.

And this debt will be growing, by leaps and bounds with interest, so when all the debt of Social Security, Medicare, Newly Created Long Term Veteran care and more, starts to hurt and taxes need to be raised, remember it was the Republicans, Reagan, Bush Sr. and the worst, Bush Jr. who were responsible for the huge rise in the National Deficit. And Republicans will be responsible for GWB's spending, because they had control of the White House and Congress for 7 years, and the Democrats were really not given enough power in the last election to pass the blame completely.
